Notes: 'Taking a Line for a Walk' is a 12-minute film that records the 3-hour performance of a white line being drawn onto the pavements and roads around the boundary of Stockwell in South London, defining, marking and mapping the area. The line was made with white poster paint and a Line Drawing Machine constructed by the artist. The drawing lasted for approximately 2 weeks. 'Line Drawing' is a 2-minute film that examines the poetry of the actual lines drawn on the road and pavement surfaces during the performance.
